  • What would be your legacy walk-up song? My forever walk-up song would probably be I Like Dirt by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
  • What position do you want to play in your last Dana game?  I want to pitch in my last game at Dana.
  • What is your favorite memory or moment in your Dana career?  My favorite memory is our final home game my Junior Year against San Juan where Katie hit a walk-off.  The entire game just had the best energy, and I was very happy to get the seniors a win on their Senior Night.
  • What has hurt the most in your time playing softball?   What has hurt most in my high school softball career has been seeing our team get affected by decisions and things happening off the field. However, it has been incredibly impressive to watch everyone bounce back year after year.
  • What will you miss the most about Dana Softball?  I will  definitely miss the girls the most. I hear about teams constantly having drama and have never truly related to that for this team. Ups and downs happen, but I feel like our team has always made sure to leave that at the door once the game starts.
  • Final thoughts:  For college, I will be playing at and attending Stony Brook University in Long Island, New York on a full ride! I want to thank my parents and sister for always being there to support me! When I'm frustrated, they have been there to help me talk though anything and make me a better player. I would also like to thank Wiley for being at all of my games and somehow never watching a second of them.  I love you guys!

*Attending Syracuse University *

  • What age did you start playing softball and where?  I started playing for Laguna Niguel Girls Softball at six years old.
  • What positions have you played through the years?  I mostly play outfield, but throughout the years I've played 2nd and pitched.
  • What would be your legacy walk-up song? 24k Magic by Bruno Mars.
  • What position do you want to play in your last Dana game?  In my last Dana game, I want to play right field.
  • What is your favorite memory or moment in your Dana career?  I think one of my best memories on the field was winning the Champs Cup in my sophomore year. We had recently experienced a change in coaches and also had the minimum number of players. Despite the situation, we won remarkably. It was definitely a proud moment for all of us that worked hard and cooperated.
  • What has hurt the most in your time playing softball?   Something that challenged me over the years was getting over anxiety on the field. I learned to control my emotions and gained confidence in the game, which benefitted me in softball, but also in my approach to life/high school. In my freshman year, I was tempted to quit due to this. I knew that I wanted to keep playing, and I am extremely glad I persevered. This game improved my mentality and taught me commitment. I figured out how to reset myself even when things become complicated.
  • What will you miss the most about Dana Softball?  I will miss the actual game and the girls the most. In the last four years, I've grown closer with all the amazing people on this team. Overall, I will miss the team energy that motivates me to work harder. I will remember all the loud, fun dugout cheers and encouragement from this team. Softball has always been something I looked forward to, and I will always love the game.
  • Final thoughts:  After high school, I look forward to attending Syracuse University in the fall. I plan to study Business Economics and minor in either Political Science or Music.
